Qualification and Experience
Assistant Engineer (Operation)- Electrical:
- Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage Power Electronics / Power Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum 01-year post-qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in Operation/ Maintenance /Erection / Construction /Engineering in Thermal or Gas Power Plant.
Assistant Engineer (Operation)- Mechanical:
- Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engg. / Production & Industrial Engg./Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum 01-year post-qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in Operation/ Maintenance /Erection / Construction /Engineering in Thermal or Gas Power Plant.
Medical Specialist (General Medicine):
- MBBS with MD/DNB (General Medicine) [Qualification recognized by National Medical Commission (formerly Medical Council of India)].
- Experience in General Medicine.
- For E4 Grade– Minimum 1-year experience/practice after MD/DNB (General Medicine).
- For E3 Grade– Fresh MD/DNB (General Medicine).
- Candidates recruited in E3 grade with MD/DNB qualification will be placed in E4 grade after 01 year of experience.
Salary for NTPC Recruitment 2023: Assistant Engineer (Operation)- Electrical: Rs. 30000 – 120000 (E0 grade) Assistant Engineer (Operation)- Mechanical: Rs. 30000 – 1,20000 (E0 grade) Medical Specialist (General Medicine): Rs.60000-180000 & E4- Rs. 70000-200000
Selection Process for NTPC Recruitment 2023: The selection process involves an online screening/shortlisting/selection test/interview. For screening tests, the final selection is based on 85% weightage of online test marks and 15% weightage of interview marks.
